Morts Once you get past the band's, uh, sour-smelling moniker and the bewildering cover imagery, what you will hear should, by the laws of nature as we know it, not work at all. A '90s "alternative" rock band who went back in time (Bill & Ted style) to the late '60s, brought back a psychedelic organist to 2013, said unto him, "Jam with us, dude!" and recorded the resulting sessions. I dunno how else it could've happened, but I'm bloody glad it did! Despite all the odds it goddamn works! And it rocks! Favorite track: The Gatekeeper.

Bucky There goes the rooster..... Really dig this 5-song output. Goes from soft to loud to trippy, atmospheric organ filled grooves and back again. Now I want 5 more songs. The band description to the right of the page pretty much sums up anything I couldn't come up with. Favorite track: Ruined In Seconds.

totally agree with FDJ. This is great music. it doesnt always have to be METAL. "Woman in Black" rocks your ears, "Peak of Ella" is so smooth... The follow-up self titled EP is awesome too Crash!

A great live capture of a band that exemplifies the best of stoner, doom, and psychedelic rock in the current age: all in one package. Picking a favourite song is hard because each song succeeds in nominating itself. I lean toward Enter the Zigurat, though. The production and mix are studio quality. Very clear & balanced. The band sound great live, too. Long jams to get lost in; great guitar, great vocals. Each instrument complements the others. No overshadowing. Thanks, ST! 8.5+/10. Alrihkh
